Field Officer Blitzer

A more improved version of Shield Blitzer

Age: 24

History: Born and raised in Canterlot, Shield joined the Equestrian guard at the age of 18, over the course of a few years he worked his way to the rank of Field Officer a task that keeps Blitz on his hooves at all times.

Personality: In a battle he never takes his opponent lightly and always expects them to be a challenge no matter if they're pony or someone else. While on the battle field be it commanding or helping with the battle Shield always does his best to not let the enemy/opponent figure out what he is planning next, also Shield is calm even under pressure. When Blitz isn't in uniform he loves spending time with his sister Summer Flare and catching up when the two are away for long periods of time. Summer is a pony Blitzer cares for and would protect her with his life.

Strengths: Being both strong physically and magically helps Blitzer deal a good amount of damage and also be dealt some punishment as well. Never one to rely on one thing for too long (be it magic or his unique sword/physical attacks). Shield always mixes his attacks up if he feels like he is doing one thing for too long as not to be predicable in battle. Blitzer is a intelligent pony, always does his best to keep his opponent(s) guessing. If at any moment he feels the need to he will teleport or jump out of an attack he deems to dangerous.


Fighting style: Shield likes to start a battle going defensive and force the opponent to come to him(and switch to attacking), occasionally Blitz will start battle offensively to keep the opponent moving(and then switch when he feels like he is attacking for too long). As Field Officer Blitzer needs to have(and use) plenty of magic to defend/attack(but also not to rely on it too much) continued use will leave him with less to work with, which is why Shield is careful how much he uses during battles that are longer. When it comes to physical attacks Blitz can use his back legs to stand up( is able to do this at least four minutes at a time) when someone gets to close and uses his front hooves to attack, or use his Blitz Buck to knock them back. Shield isn't afraid to block(either with his curved weapon or magical blade) from an attack.


Weaknesses: Speed is an issue for Blitz, if facing someone a bit more faster then him, which could lead Shield to use more defensive spells and leave less for offensive magical attacks. This could lead to Shield being forced to fight more closer to the opponent and could find himself in a situation he might not like.

Offensive capabilities
Sword Slash- Best for when the opponent gets a little to close or when Blitz wants to fight up close, this attack deals a good amount of pain and uses this if pressured into being in close ranged fights.
Blitz Buck- Uses this form of attack when a opponent gets too close or when Shield wants to get in close causing knockback and dealing some damage. Risk of being open for attack when preformed is somewhat moderate.
Magical Blade- Best for forcing the opponent to move if they're in one spot for too long, this attack deals a good amount of damage when slashed or pieced. Takes a bit of magic to bring out and a bit more to maintain/ used over time. Can bring out two at a time.
Magical Surge: A magical attack Shield uses if he feels like the situation isn't in his favor, coming from his horn this is able to deal a fair amount of damage and potentially leaving them momentarily stunned giving Shield enough time to regroup/refocused. This uses a little magic.

Defensive capabilities
Shield Stance- Stands up on his back legs and uses his front if(or when) he needs to, when needed Blitz uses his magic to bring up a small barrier to protect/reduce the damaged taken. Shield also does this to do a counter attack when the opponent gets within range.
Magical Armor- Used in cases when the armor(be it light or heavy) isn't enough, adds a bit more protection. This uses magic over time and is not recommended for long periods of time.
Fortress Defense- Blitzer uses a fair amount of magic bringing this up, a magical barrier covering his entire body. While using this it uses up a good amount of magic, not recommended during long periods of a battle(chances Blitz of dropping it depends on the battle). Also can be used when he needs to come up with a plan of attack.
Mobile Shield: Uses if he feels like his sides and back are at risk of being hit(be it kick or a swipe/slash of a weapon) a semi strong barrier it's able to take a few strong blows, doesn't take much magic to bring this out.


Main weapon is like no other, being a curved sword it can slash, cut or pierce(if he feels like using it like a pick axe). Blitz can either use magic to hold it up(can use it defensively) or hold it in his mouth.
Blitzer's unique sword is around half his size. Also adding both ends of his weapon(including the tips) are sharp enough to leave opponents wishing they didn't come in contact with it. Can deal a great amount of pain when Blitz gets in close.

Shield durability: Blitzer's barrier strength is actually quite strong. It can take a good amount of punishment before starts to crack(depends how hard a opponent hits it). Shield is able to keep the barrier up if it's hit hard enough but if continued it will break and Blitz would leave him without his barrier(unlikely but still possible, Shield knows not to stand in one area for too long).

For armor Shield prefers lighter armor(while wearing a under suit).Lighter padded armor can protect Blitz from weaker attacks(IE a normal punch/kick from an opponent), heavier attack such as knives and other sharp weapons would leave tear in the armor/cut through but not all the way). Shield can wear heavy armor but will leave him slower then he would like, Blitz rather wear lighter armor so he has the mobility he wants(still a good chance he'll wear heavy armor)

Note: The light armor has hardly any metal on it, more padded then anything else.

Blitz Special- A move he hardly uses, but will use it if he takes too much damage(around 35 percent of his health). No ordinary shield it increases Blitz's defense and can take more damage then his other barriers which keeps him safe even when on the move(mainly to avoid/dodge attacks) and giving Shield more time in battle. This uses a good amount of magic.
